Tibetan Music Awards 2009, voting from 11 September

MCLEOD GANJ, India, 9 September 2009 (Music Tibet News) — The online voting for the Tibetan Music Awards 2009 will be held from 11 to 20 September. Voting through post, published in the Tibet Times newspaper, is already underway.

The votes will decide the winners of awards in 17 different categories.

The awards presentation ceremony will be held on 10 October at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, Mcleod Ganj, India.

Laughing Buddha Music is the official record label of the Tibetan Music Awards. We are still waiting for confirmation from a few other prospective sponsors.

Preparations are in full swing for the event. Artistes, Songwriters, Musicians, Singers and Producers have been invited to the event.

The TMA was first started in 2003. Since then it has been held every other year.
